HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met at Nathan’s 28th birthday lunch (uninvited) in 2014. Nathan knew me and had seen me years ago, even tried messaging me but I had no idea who he was.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT
Nathan proposed at an art gallery in Rosebank. It was perfect because I had no idea. He told me that we were going to his work function and when we got there, there he was standing with his cue cards me if I will marry him.
WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU KNEW BEFORE THE WEDDING?
I wish we knew about covid-19 and the influence it had on having events before all the planning.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR ENGAGED COUPLES?
Stay in agreement and don’t let outside influence (family or friends) deter you from the vision you have for your special day.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOU DOING TOGETHER?
Going out to new places because we love the outdoors and FOOD!
WHAT WAS THE BEST PART ABOUT YOUR WEDDING
The ceremony. We loved the fact that it was so intimate and special.
WHAT CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU LIKE MOST IN YOUR PARTNER?
Gosh there are so many! Firstly Nathan’s love for God. Secondly his sense of humour for sure! He is extremely funny and has the ability to bring so much joy and laughter to those around him. There is never a dull moment with him. Lastly, his good heart (always putting others first before himself).
